OUCH!
Well throughout my pregnancy (touch wood) i have just had the normal aches and pains etc until this afternoon...... all afternoon i have been getting really painful short sharp stabbing pains really low down just above my bikini line mostly on the left side but a couple on the right side.
They only last about 5 seconds or so but really take me by surprise and bend me double. I have had about 20-25 so far since about 4pm.

Its almost like my ricegrain has long nails and is stabbing me with them,but i dont feel her/him move at the time.
Baby has been active today and i havn't overdone it or been doing anything different today.
Has anyone else had this type of pain? and is this anything to worry about or just another "normal" pregnancy pain??

I have had a few shooting pains, but they feel more like they are straight down through my cervix and down the birth canal. Almost electric like pains. You might give you MW a call and ask.

I'd be more worried if the baby was less active.
Get it checked out if it's not normal for you.

i have had pains on my left side this weekend to but they have subsuided i also managed to pull a muscle in tummy strectching into oven and nowam ouchy with that x

I've had some pains like LO is scratching with his nails. I would call your midwife or doctor if you think it makes you worry!
