Oh, and if you do have it done, the most tender bit is the bottom of your bump where they have to push so hard. This bot for me was bruised and hurt if I bumped up against the wash basin. Lasted about 5 days or so.

It is really good to hear others' stories.

I have not been told not to eat anything beforehand. We are to go in at 8.45am on tuesday and they will trace babys heart for half an hour or so before the procedure.

I have been told theres plenty of liquid around baby - dont know babys exact position of the legs- head is directly below my chest.

I feel we need to give it a go. I do have a tiny bump and it is so easy to feel outline of baby by just putting hands on the bump so hoping that makes it all easier!! The doctor who is doing it is the Director of the hospital and he has big hands I have been told - I am just trying to stay positive about it all!

I watched that youtube clip of woman having an ecv- she didnt look too uncomfortable.

She had a bigger bump and lot more excess fat around tummy than me so hopefully it will be very easy for them to turn my little one round!!

Hi, The not eating is just in case they have to do a c section if the baby becomes distressed.

Yeah, mine was the same - head dead centre at top, and doc got it around to about 2 o'clock. When he let go though the head went ping - right back to the top!!

We also had to take bags in car just in case c section was needed - don't know if you're aware of that?
