As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. If you would like to contibute please PM me for details. I'm Currently Feeling: | I worried about the same thing. I had the feeling all along that I was having a girl. I even told my mom and DH that I was confident enough in my instinct that it was a girl, that I would start shopping before the u/s. When the u/s confirmed it, I never questioned it. We bought all pink. Everything people got us was pink or purple and girl themed. Then after the shower, putting everything away, I started getting nervous. All I could think is that what if they made a mistake. I wouldn't take the tags off of anything, and I hadn't washed any of her clothes. I washed what we were packing in her hospital bag, but thats it. Then when I had the BPP, the u/s a week ago confirmed again that she is a little girl, and that was at a different hospital and everything, so I felt much more reassured by that.
I think its normal to worry about it being wrong, but if you see the parts clearly, I think the odds are fairly low. I would imagine that if someone said, "Well I don't see boy bits, so it's a girl", I would worry a LOT more about that. But when they show you, you can feel much more confident. |

Part of the reason that I didn't want to find out the sex was cause I didn't want to be wrong. I've heard too many of those stories!!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Did you see the boy bits on teh ultrasound?
We did and Im 100% sure that he is a boy. I had a feeling from the start. We still haven't bought an awful lot of boy clothes though, and stuff we have for the bedroom (moses basket etc) are all neutral colours.
It is a very scary thought, but I don't think its all that common for them to get it wrong, so try not to worry hun

I'm Currently Feeling: | I didn't buy any clothing for my baby until the 20 week ultrasound because I couldn't find any unisex clothing that I liked. They really should have more options out there in my opinion! |

I was not worried about being told the wrong sex, my DH just didn't want to know. |
