Seems to be normal at this stage for sure.
Just take it easy and take something for pain.

I actually had an identical problem. It was period pains with stabbing pain only on one side. I took a hot water bottle, tylenol (acetaminophen), went on the bed, covered up and slept for a bit. It really helped a lot.
I hope you feel better.

I'm starting to get period pains several times a week now. The further along I get the worse they are. I will be very happy when they are gone!!

It sounds like normal pregnancy pains to me - I got these really badly in the first few months of pregnancy and started to get them again when I entered the third trimester. Watch out for these pains if they become regular, though - some women experience period pains in the early stages of labour and describe their contractions as like period pain - so if they start coming every 20 mins or so, and then increase in frequency and intensity and start to last longer you should give your midwife a call because you could be in labour.

Definately keep using the hot water bottle - maybe go for a nice long, deep, hot bath. Hope you feel better soon x

I've started getting them as well, nothing really makes them go away for me... Although hot water bottle, tylenols and warm bath helps to ease to pain.

I think that at this point, the only pain medicine to all my pregnancy pains is to give birth!

Hope you feel better soon !
