Ouch you poor thing, I've decided I don't care if I have a jungle down there and if the midwife has an issue she's the one with the problem not me. Hair is there for a reason.

I wax regularly - had a revamp this week and have booked another for 2-3 weeks before my due date. Vain? Me? never....

Oh and it's not that painful at all

Ooh sounds very painful. Poor you. Have you got any Sudocrem? It's brilliant for everything, put a very large blob on (just externally) and it should feel better in morning. x

Nah, they do say it is better to be "tidy" there (tip from my NCT teacher): not from a "vanity" point of view, but from a "less messy afterwards" point of view... (women tend to bleed a LOT after birth - so less and shorter hair is less likely to get so badly matted with blood... )

shouldn't really get 'matted' anyway if you're showering twice a day like normal ?
i used to have very heavy periods so i would assume thats technically like blood loss after birth.
i much prefer the hairy approach haha, but trimmed and obviously not enough to plait into patterns or anything haha x

awww poor you...

My midwife told me at my ante natal classes that they prefer you not to trim or wax to much because it causes infection...
