Hello All,
I am so excited to finally be able to post!! I've been a lurker since the beginning of my 2nd trimester, but had trouble with my e-mail...so I couldn't get my user name to work to be able to post
. It's been so frustrating!
Anyway, I am 31 weeks pregnant with a boy...I'm "due" May 22nd, although I am scheduled for a C-section on May 15th. This will be my 2nd child. My first (the one in my avatar) is Emma. She is 4 and very excited to have a brother. Emma had a rough road after she was born (she had a liver transplant when she was 7 mths. old and has ongoing issues related to that). In so many ways I feel like this is my first pregnancy because it's been a while....and we've been through so much. I am just SO excited!
I've been followed closely throughout this pregnancy, and I have been on bedrest for the past 6 weeks....with 4 more weeks to go. They will release me from bedrest at 35 weeks...YIPPEE! I am on bedrest due to contractions ...I continuosly have them approximately every 3-4 minutes when I am not on medication. YUCK! Baby looks GREAT! So, if it will keep him in there, then I am more than happy to continue to lay around.
I'm just so happy to be able to post! Especially with so much extra time on my hands
. I am a kindergarten teacher, so I am used to being up and constantly on the move

So, that's me! Sorry to write a book. I just feel like I know so much about all of you from reading your posts for so long. Glad to finally be a part of the group. Happy pregnancy to all!
