Wow Tasha it hasn't taken you long! - You look great!

Honestly girls, things do go back to normal....I didn't do anything special after Ky, but I walked EVERYWHERE and the weigh came off really quickly...but I'd say it took a good 9 months for everything to go completely back to normal, in terms of starting to see your abs again etc...I luckily didn't have any stretchmarks except a few on the back of my hips. I had them on my boobs anyway from puberty. I've never really liked them.
This is me 15 months after my first ( 5 weeks pregnant wit number 2) Bit Graphic!

The weight hasn't come off so quickly after Frankie (I'm still a stone (14lbs) heavier but my diet is just terrible...sugar...sugar and more sugar....But I don't feel mahoosive and still no stretchies...will have to take some recent pics though, ive not taken any since Frankie was 3 weeks old.

So my point is, its not all doom and gloom, its very likely that you will get your body back and you don't have to kill yourself to look like you did...just give yourself a bit of time and things do slowly return to normal.
-They say it takes 9 months to put the weigt on, so give yourself 9 months to take the weight off and tone back up.

Wow, Rachie, you look fab! You're an inspiration to the rest of us - and proof that having a baby doesn't mean having a baby belly for the rest of your life!

Can't wait until I'm completely back to normal (am now a size 12 - 14, was previously a size 8!) but I'm very optimistic about it happening - I've already lost two stone (28lbs) since having Anna and have lost most of the bump - just need to tone up now really

Thanks Tasha

I think you've done really well already, you wouldn't know you'd just had a baby to look at you- But you can tell yourself where things need a little work can't you?....I too found the weight came off easily after Ky, but it did take a good 9 months for the honing and toning lol - I think its important to remember that it does take time for things to return to normal. Even our internal organs take time to go back to their original position from being all squished up... so all new Moms shouldn't panic when they have a jelly belly for the first few weeks...It goes!

when I had my son, I lost most of the weight within the first two days, and had a little pouch left, I would say I lost all but ten pounds....the last ten pounds came off within a course of 8 or 9 months (but I was choreographing a show and dancing vigorously during the last 3 months of that, that probably helped to gain back muscle tone mostly)
no matter how much you lose after you will be beautiful no matter what though, it's that new mommy glow that people won't see past hope you are feeling well (as well as possible at this point, I remember my third tri!)

Wow, Steph, you'd never know that you've had a baby from looking at you, (or that you're pregnant in that pic!)

Looking good!
