It smells great

But what is really nice to see is when women post pictures of their babies and then you realize that everything you go through is so worth it just to hold that little person in your arms.
Yah they are kinda scary. But most of the really scary ones seemed to have the most damage from stretchmarks. It seems in those cases the skin wasn't as elastic to begin with. (NOT TO SAY that some women here who are getting stretch marks can expect these results!) Again much depends on Age, skin care, heredity, etc. etc.

Just hydrate, eat well, enjoy that baby, BF if possible and when the time is right exercise moderately with toning and most women should be almost back good as new.

I left the hospital wearing a regular t-shirt and some maternity shorts. However, I had recently gotten them as I still had 1 month to go so they were to loose. I read somewhere to bring an outfit you wore when you were 6-7 month pregnant. It would've been reasonable for the first days after birth.

Don't be too discouraged! You'll probably feel better about yourself than you expect. You'll be so amazed about what that body managed to create, to deliver, that you'll honor it more than before the bump. New moms often complain about their bodies, but didn't we do that BEFORE being pregnant as well!!

Don't just look at the pictures ladies, read what those mama's have to say!

The essence of the website is to combat those feelings of 'imperfection' that we all have.

I know we want to be the best looking for our DH's and we should! But sometimes things are out of our control! We spend monies on gym memberships and bio-oils and all kinds of things to keep our bodies looking like they did at 17. Let's remember the idea here is to be HEALTHY and be healthy mama's for our precious cargo .

Also remember this may not be a normal statistical analysis of women. This may in fact represent the majority of women who have major issues after pregnancy and just have a hard time dealing - this is a place for them to post, and come to terms with their bodies.

So, in fact, the probability might be that you'll come out looking better than you expected.

I know with my first, I had no sagging, no problems, no stretch marks, I just had some extra weight I gained and never lost 15 pounds or so. I might have more issues now, but still expect to be able to have a waist again

No stretchies on the belly yet, but my thighs are LOADED with them. I'll never look the same in a bikini again, but I'm sure it's worth it. All the joys that LO will bring !

No stretch marks for me yet! Knock on wood! I haven't gotten that big yet, but the worst is yet to come, I'm sure.

How come I can't see pictures on those pages?
