i must say.. whatever happened to the 'Wizzard' bands and decent songs about Christmas that made such good 'old school' Christmas songs?

we seriously need to get some christmas songs in the making so our children have great christmas compilations (like we have Jive Bunny etc! hehe) i really hope they don't have ones that consist of 2345678 songs from XFACTOR

I love X Factor but the song is rubbish and Simon Cowell needs to realise he doesn't automatically 'earn' a Christmas number one by getting some kid to sing a Miley bloody Cyrus song.

I bought RATM and so happy I did! Especially as all the profits are going to charity (Shelter, I think)

im in two minds...i dont like simon cowell, but i think its very sad that a young lad who has probably dreamed about that his whole life was beaten by a group who had their chance the first time round.
i do however think its great that rage are donating all profits to charity.......

having said that.... rage's record label is Sony BMG, isnt that who simon cowell works for? so he profits either way.... so the only loser is poor lil JO.... yes its a shit song... but it seems like he is the only real victim.

ALSO, Miley Cyrus is like 13? or something? how insulting is that for the XFactor contestants anyway?? they could have made a brand new song to sing, then maybe people would give it a second glance! (Miley Cyrus is very talented don't get me wrong)

And it's great that RATM is giving their profits to charity, because obviously they've made money off that record before so it's really kind of them to do that
