Glad everything is ok just now. So surprised they didn't get you in to check you over if the OB thought your LO was trying to escape. Take it easy now. xx

Is there anyway at all to switch to a different doctor? I know it is a little late, but having such an uncaring doc is not good.

Just went through something similar myself today...so I know how you feel! Glad everything is ok and I'll be praying for both of our LO's to chill out and stay inside!

I'm shocked that your doctor didn't have you go to the hospital to get monitored and get an injection. My doctor put me on medication straight away after I started showing signs of preterm labor to prevent anything like that from happening again (contractions) until I was far enough along. I'm glad they stopped and everything is ok if this is to happen again I would just call your birth center and see what they want you to do.

Unfortunately I can't switch to a new doctor this far along...noone will have me! As soon as I deliver and have my post-partum checkup I am switching though. It really sucks however. I LOVE MY doctor. When you're PG though they make you see everyone in the practice, so I haven't seen MY doc since I got pg. I don't even know if she knows the clomid worked! Blah. I think if it happens again I'll just go straight to the ER and not bother calling the practice.

Im glad it stopped on its own! I cant believe that your OB didnt have you go in and be checked or anything! At you next appt you should have her check your cervix, cause that could have caused you to dilate or efface some. Good luck! I hope it doesnt start again!

Im so sorry you had to deal with that! Thats awful! Are you sure that no other office will take you? I switched at 28 weeks, and I was so glad that I did. I would be calling around like crazy if I were you. Anytime my doctor thinks anything might be going on, she either has me come right to her office, or to L&D. Sorry to hear she didn't seem to caring. I'd be pissed honestly. And def ask her to check your cervix and what not at your next appointment to make sure that you were dilating. Glad things slowed down on their own, and hope your LO stays put!

Glad to hear the contractions stopped and you are feeling better now hun! I know that must have been scary. Your doc should have definitely seen you or at least sent you to the ER maybe...not to worry, let's just hope it doesn't happen again. Hope you find plenty of time to relax.
