Question

So whats everyone trying??

So I know we are getting toward the end of our pregnancies so I figured I would ask what everyone is trying to prepare/ help kick start labor? I haven't started yet as I'm only 33 weeks but it would be nice to keep track of who is doing what and how it works out for them for when 37 weeks rolls around I can try all the goods

Just eating more fresh pineapples + trying to have more sex right now...
I can't try walking because of some very bad pelvic pressure (can barely walk from my bedroom to the bathroom )

Well it must be somewhat working since you've been having lots of contractions. I heard with pineapple though you have to eat a few a day... I think I would get burnt out after two days lol. Sorry your pelvis hurts!!

LOL Sex, sex, and more sex. Quite a bit of walking, when its not too painful. I was thinking of going to find some evening primrose oil, and raspberry leaf tea, but was hoping for an induction. Better go get some tomorrow. Eating spicy food, somewhat cause I cant handle anything too spicy. I haven't been doing too much, hoping that the sex will make it happen LOL.

I highly doubt there is any sex in my near future. My husband is pretty creeped out by the idea right now.

I don't think I could have sex everyday, maybe once a week if I'm lucky. I always feel tired and achy.

Black and Blue cohosh work great. But, do not try it until you are ready for labor. Contractions usually kick in within the first few minutes.

I've been thinking about this quite a bit recently as I'm fast approaching (what are hopefully) the last few of my pregnancy...

Hubby is quite keen to try the sex thing (just as much through eagerness to start properly being a Daddy as through general male horniness, I think) .... But I foolishly let on that prostoglandins are better absorbed through the stomach ... of course he now thinks he knows the perfect way to kickstart labour and we should try it every day!! *rolls eyes* lol

We're also going to try long walks, hot curries and rasberry leaf tea... Will be interesting to see what other people are getting up to, though!
