UGHH girls. I had my 37 week appt today. It sucked. First of all, my doc said that she will not induce labor because the baby is big. So that means that even if she keeps on getting bigger and bigger, I'm going to have to try, or just schedule a section. Which I'm def not happy about, since I told her I wanted to avoid one completely. My BP was a little high, but they checked my urine and it was fine. I did LOSE 2 pounds, so I was happy about that. Then she did the measurements, and now I'm measuring a week ahead. She listened to the heartbeat and we talked about movement. I told her I felt the baby a couple times today, but not a lot. So she sent me right back to L&D. They did another Non-Stress Test. Things were fine. Not one single contraction, which was depressing cause 3 other women on the monitor were having them like crazy. Wish it was me!! My doc also ordered a bio-physical profile. It was nice cause we got to see LO on the screen. And SHES STILL A GIRL!!! LOL. Anyway, it was a very long day, we spent 4 hours between the doctor and the hospital. But it was good to know that she was still ok, I'm assuming my doc will call me Monday with the results of the bio-physical. (They checked her movements, her measurements, and measured the fluid around the baby). Anyway, sorry for going on. I couldn't let you girls know before we were going to the hospital cause doc sent us right over from the appt. Hope everyone has a good weekend! =)

Sorry no contractions hun! Are you still having lots of sex?? At least you and baby got checked out and everything is fine. Hope next time you go to L&D you come out with a baby

I can only imagine your frustration love! Hopefully it won't be much longer. It is good to know that all is well.

I'm sorry! It kinda sounds like your doctor doesn't want to deal with you being in labor and just wants to do the c-section. Do you think that your due date is off?

Im sorry for you hun I was really hoping that they would induce you at 38 weeks. Will keep thinking of you and hope that she will come naturaly

Thanks girls! I was hoping she would induce me next week too!! I do kinda feel like she just wants to schedule the section. I dont understand at all why that would be more beneficial then at least attempting to induce me. I felt very unhappy leaving her office today, something I have never felt with her. I know shes worried about the baby, since shes not moving much right now, but right away, she just sent me over to L&D. She measured, listened to the heartbeat, and that was it. She didn't mention an internal to even see if I was doing anything down there, she didn't ask me if I had questions. She just said that I need to call her anytime I dont feel the kicks. And then sent me off. UGH, its so frustrating, cause its not like I can change docs now.

I dont think my dates are off at all, because they have been consistent since my first pre-natal appointment. With LMP dates, and U/S measurements. I think the baby is just getting too big now.

Oh and LuckyMe, we are still BD'ing lots to try and get things going. I want to say that the next time I go to L&D will be to have her, but after saying that yesterday, and being right back there today, I'm not too hopeful! Sorry for the rant girls...

Hey! Just wanted to tell you, I was telling my sister about your situation tonight and she told me her second baby was born at 36 weeks and was 8 lbs. 12 oz and she had her completely natural! It can be done!! Even if you don't go natural, at least the c-section isn't the only reason!!
