Getting bored & pssed off now! - Page 3

First, I had my DS at 38+ and he was my first and weighed 8Lbs 2oz, so the "1st baby is always late " thing isn't the case. Second, if your 'petrified' your body will probably produce more adreneline that will be counter productive for labour, so try to relax and let the natural prostaglandins and oxytocins set in.
All the while, I know how you feel love, I want my LO out too. Don't think she's read the eviction notices I've been sending...

I had a quiet word with him last night, but he didn't pay much attention!

I was petrified about labour, but it seems the closer I get I'm more wanting it to happen so I can have my baby!

Saying all that, I've realised today I still have a bit too much to do before he comes (packing my hospital bag would be a start!!!) and I still have a few Xmas things to get.

Just before or on my due date would be great!!!!

I'm the same - due date 15th - my area policy is to sweep at 41 week appt and induce at 10days over - which is Xmas day! so they said they'd let me go 14 days which makes it the 29th! grrrrrrrrr. want my bubs before Xmas. it's my 2nd bubs, but no sign of her coming yet, lost mucous plug with blood 9 days ago now and had 2 hind water leaks which lead to nothing!

i am due today and I finally feel calm and not pissed off at waiting!! Weird, but now I know no matter what that Lo will be with us in 12 days! I will get a sweep next Tuesday of need be.

try and keep yourself busy and not "ticker watch" All of a sudden it's your due date and then not long to wait at all.

I know how you all feel. I'm really bored of waiting now. My problem is that both OH and I were born at 36 weeks (and I was a first baby) so I never expected to go much past that. Hummm 38 +2 today, he's clearly warm and comfy and doesn't want to come out soon! And I'm on my 3rd week of maternity leave and getting bored as I'm soooo huge and my feet are so swollen I actually can't get out and do much now.

But I'm seeing my consultant again tomorrow and she said she would induce me soon after this if my blood pressure is high again. Fingers crossed - I would love the baby to come sooner than later so his birthday isn't quite so on top of Christmas.

Fingers crossed that everyone's babies come really soon!

My biggest problem is I cant stop internet shopping its costing me a fortune!! I need to get this baby here to occupy me.

i know how u feel, though im a bit behind you im feeling it too. just want baby out now, before due date, otherwise im ok about waiting until after christmas coz i dont really want her to come on christmas day!
