Lower back pain.

This entire evening Ive had to have help standing up and walking because my lower back is spazzing out and I am in agony. I cant put my left foot down without it hurting like hell. My OH says its because I walk funny (too heavily) but it's never happened before and I haven't changed how I walk. Maybe I'm just too heavy now?
He asked me if I can take any pain relief, but I'd rather not because I don't know if I'm allowed any.
Anyone else had the same thing?
PS: I'm not even that big atm. I measure out fine by my midwife but compared to most pregnant ladies I'm relatively small bump-wise and I'm 5'3.

I've been suffering from a lower bad back now for the last few days which doesn't seem to subside. Its been coupled with lower bump pain as well. I'm kind of hoping that it means labour is imminent but I know thats just hopeful thinking.

I had to get my OH to like, half carry me into bed. It was ridiculous.
I think I might have been overdoing it? I did a massive spring clean - lots of bending down and dragging the hoover around. I'm going to take it easy today - any excuse. :P
I see my mw tomorrow so I'll ask then.

If you're having trouble walking aswell, maybe ask her about spd !!!
I have been prescribed parecetemol by my Dr, and my midwife has also said before it's ok to take them, so if you're in pain and not seeing anyone for a while, have a paracetemol and put your feet up. Definitely sounds like you're doing too much !!!

Could be ligaments, could be the way babys lying, could be spd, could be sciatica! All not very fun Youre allowed to take paracetamol as you pee it out so shouldn't harm baby, try resting and putting a hot water bottle on your back, Also lying in the recovery position tends to help, and a warm bubble bath, Probs worth mentioning to midwife just incase its spd tho cus you should be referred to physio - tho theres not a lot they can do, just another joyful pregnancy symptom! hope u feel better soon hun x
