Ultrasound @ 30+ wks

I asked my OB at my appt yesterday if I get any more scans. She said no, the medically necessary ones have passed, but if I want one more peek at my daughter, she would be more than happy to send me for one.

Now I don't know when I should book it for. I haven't seen LO since my 20 wk scan, and I honestly didn't see much that day apart from her organs and the outline of her body. I didn't even ask to see proof that she's a girl, he quickly scanned over it but said 100% girl.

So I'm looking forward to one last scan. When should I book it for? How are ultrasounds that late in pregnancy?

i had mine at 31 weeks so last friday and she was already really big u see a bit but its more shadowed kind of. i got one pic its my display pic.

i had one at 29+3 and it was awful, we didnt see a thing, baby was facing inwards

am having another tomoro so hoping to see a bit more of her then, i guess i was just unlucky last time round but i had prepared myself for a really good look as she was bigger and was sorely disappointed

with my other 2 i only had the usual 12 and 20 week scans we get her

i had one this morning!! tbh i found the earlier scans better as now i can just see small parts at once not her whole body. I have scans about every week though and its always nice to see her!

i had one at 36 weeks, was kinda rubbish and a bit scary because she was so big in it! her head took up the whole screen, the 20week scan is by far the best!

I had them at 32,35+36 weeks and they were still clearish but you just cant see alot at once because there so big.

I'd do it sooner rather than later

i had scans (After 21 weeks ) at 28w, 32w, and 36w. I only got a pic at the 28week because you cant really see much after that so they didnt give me any scan pictures because they said that the baby is so 'big' you cant really see the bodys properly in the pictures (if you know what i mean?) x

I'm hoping at the very least then to get confirmation of her gender. It seems she will be too big for anything else really.

Hi i had a 3d scan done at 27 weeks which was brilliant (profile pic) but i have to have scans every 2 weeks and to be honest they seem to get worse with each one!! my 21 week scan has been the best one so far except 3d!
