High protein, gp spoke to hosp and I'm on way now! UPDATE

As the title says - am panicking a bit - bp ok bit have swelling in hands and feet and stomach pain.

Eek

Update

thanks for your kind messages girlies. Xx

they monitored me - baby hb and movements all ok, protein was lower on hospital pee stick (???) which I thought was odd, examined swelling, none in face, took bloods which I will get results for this morning, and then sent me home - so very relieved. All a bit of a storm in a teacup but at least I got checked out.

Had a very stroppy petulant hubby who acted as if if made it all up! Dr and hospital told me to go in - funnily enough my idea of a great Tuesday evening isn't being worried out of my mind for hours on a hard gurney wired up to machines and having blood tests. So on top of all that I had a right bloody go at him when we got home for being childish and unsupportive and told him I expect better in labour!

Quick rant there - sorry!

Loop thanks for your no. Have sent you mine. Xxx

hope everything is ok, they have to be careful if you even have 1 of the 3 pre-E signs! i had this at the same stage of pregnancy as you with my son, they kept me in for 3 days before deciding to induce me at 39+5.

good luck and let us know how you get on - you got a text buddy in case?

Try not to panic buffy - they have to err on the side of caution so much with any pre-e symptoms.
[I]Generally[I] swelling in hands and feet is not a sign (as it's so common...) swollen ankles and / or face is more so but even with a bit of protein or higher bp they will test you - I had bloods done just because my bp was over 88.

Hope you're ok x

Deep breaths hun...probably all precautionary stuff and at least you're having this dealt with. Let us know how you get on. Will be thinking lots and lots about you and hoping you are just fine.
