I get these quite badly... They come over me in waves... my whole tummy goes hard and I sometimes get a sort of electric pain/feeling with it - a bit like the feeling you get with using electronic muscle toners if you've ever used one? I also sometimes get a sharp shooting pain in my cervix at the same time... But they don't last more than a few seconds and they're over almost as soon as they start and the first few times I was left wondering if I was ever in pain at all or if I just imagined it! lol

Not everyone gets them, though and for most people I think it's just a tightening and stiffening of the tummy muscles... You'll know when/if you get them. Hope this helps
