I'm finding more and more when I go out that I get funny looks from people.

The first time was when I was only 20 or 21 weeks and was at the airport and people kept watching me and looking at my belly. I thought it was a one off thing because maybe they thought I was hiding something up my shirt.

Now when I walk around town it happens all the time and makes me feel a little strange. I was in boots a few days ago and turned round so see an old man just stood there staring so I stood about 1/2 a metre away and stared back but it took him some time to stop! Then I sat in a cafe and a group of teens sat nearby watching me too and then began talking about their friends who got pregnant to get a flat.

That made me think maybe I look younger than I am and they think I'm a teen or does everyone get this?

I agree with you. I'm going to be 24 in August and I've been told that I look like I'm 18. So, everytime hubby and I go out shopping or even if I'm by myself, people always stare. Yesterday at the grocery, some lady stared at me for what had to have been like 15 minutes when I was in one aisle. I thoughtfully waved my ring finger (where my wedding ring is) for her to look at as I walked by her and she murmured sorry and sped away. Haha! Don't pay any attention to them! My mom always tells me, they are staring because we are beautiful!

Although i'm not that huge just yet people do stare, maybe because i look young but i quite like the attention. I do find myself staring at other pregnant women so i guess its just a natural thing, we do look beautiful!

yes , just today i went to pop into town to get myself some treats for hospital bag, people will glare at me ( mostly oldies) I tut at them and give them dirty looks and look them up and down like they do me.

Its like i need a sign saying im not benefits, i have a partner that works and im not a school kid!

Today is not my day im afraid so i gladly rammed through a bunch of oldies talking about me

I am over 30, so don't have that problem. I have noticed people noticing my bump, which I love!

I'm only 19 and as I am still at college I really get stared at
But it's probably because they think I am stupid and making a mistake, going to ruin my life etc..
But I know that it's nothing like that and so I just think screw them lol!
It's good at work though as I have been there 3 years they know me and know that I'm mature and sensible so they are all excited and commenting on how big I look etc, although I'm getting slightly annoyed at people I hardly talk to at work coming and rubbing my bump lol! Makes me feel kind of weird

DH and I get a lot of looks when we are out, but part of that is from older Chinese people (because he's Asian and I'm white--we got these looks even before I got pregnant). Grown quite used to it actually

I do occasionally, especially when I'm out with my mom, and they think I'm a kid who probably lives at home, is in school, and got pregnant. And its even worse now, because my rings dont fit on my finger anymore, (Im SO swollen!) so I've started to wear them on a necklace. Then people assume that I'm not married! I dont care anymore though, the people who know me, and who matter, know the truth. If people want to make assumptions, thats fine with me. Just ignore them, people always want to judge other people, but will never turn the judgement at themselves.

I don't look young, but people do look at me. I think they are trying to decide if I'm really pregnant. I've just started looking pregnant in about the last month, so people can't decide. I look at pregnant women too, though.
