I'm Currently Feeling: | Hiya,
I was just wondering if anybody in here is experiencing SPD, and having a planned cesarean becuae of it ???
Or even, is anyone having a planned cesarean... and when are they going to perform it. Is 37 weeks ok ??
This is the third pregnancy that I've had it in, and in my last birth my pelvis split.... so I have a pretty good reason for not wanting to go through that again....
and by 25 weeks, I could hardly walk... even with crutches. I have suffered with pain from it ever since..... | |

| I has SPD with my lil girl and my pelvis split during the birth too. If your going for a planned C-Section 37 weeks is considered full term but it would be most likley 38-39 weeks i would think same as induction maybe? (i was induced with both of mine) hope that helps SPD sucks! | | | | Status: Offline

| I don't have SPD, but having a planned ceasarean next week (39th week) because of baby being breech. With me, they wouldn't do it until I was at 39 weeks but maybe a more serious reason means they can make it earlier. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | My best friend had spd with last pregnancy and had to go around in a wheel chair but she had a vaginal delivery. I am having my fourth c section in May and will be 39 weeks. (shame on me, obviously not educated). Heres hoping the spd doesn't get you this pregnancy. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | i had an emergency section with my first baby because of CPD at 42 weeks and so for my 2nd they made me have a section - at 38 weeks though because i had gone into prem labour at 30 weeks which they managed to stop. One of my friends had SPD and was in agony with it - i reckon if they are letting you have a planned section it's safer to do it for you and baby - yuo don't want to go through labour only to end up with a section at the end of it all anyway. that happened to me and i was pretty depressed afterwards as i felt like i had failed in some way. I know now that that was silly......but at the time it was awful.
good luck - i hope LO has a safe entry to the world. xx | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | It's horrible isn't it. Thats why I'm considering C Section. It took 3 months of physio after my last one to get everything 'back together' again. | | | | Status: Offline

However i had been in established labour for 24 hours and had been pushing for 4 hours as it was so important to me that I did it naturally.
