Hello ladies,

Was looking for your experiences on this one... basically, from about 6 - 16 weeks I really suffered from sickness and nausea. Couldn't really eat, lost about 2 stone (I was only 9 stone to start with) and, between 9 and 15 weeks was being sick 3 or 4 times a day. From 16 - 20 weeks it was more like 3 or 4 times a week. From 20 -30 weeks I've been sick about once a week but not felt rough with it.

Anyhow, I'm now 33 + 3 and yesterday was sick three times during the day. By 7.00 in the evening I felt terrible - nauseous, dizzy and rather like I was on a really bad period. Half way through dinner I was violently sick but managed to come back and eat the rest of it because I thought it would do me good. Anyhow, I was up ALL night being sick or lying on bathroom/ hallway floor feeling like I was going to pass out. Needless to say, I didn't make it into work this morning. Have felt rough and nauseous again today but not been sick again (have managed a slice of toast, a mug of soup and a bit of nougat!) It definately doesn't feel like a stomach bug as it doesn't feel in my stomach if you know what I mean. Phoned my doctor who said I should see how I fare over the next 24 hours.

That was long winded- sorry! Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience of sickness returning during the latter stages??

I am 33 weeks too. And I am feeling similar... I was sick in first trimester too. Last night I had bad heartburn and have been feeling sick since yesterday.
I am wondering if it is not a tummy bug though.

But I have heard of this happening to others as bubs starts to really push up against your organs etc. Try and keep fluids down and if you think you might be dehydrated get someone to test your urine for ketones. I've heard that dehydration at this stage can be quite bad as it can cause contractions xx

I had that for about a week around the same time, everyone said it was just a bug but felt exactly like morning sickness. Good news is it didnt last so hopefully you will be the same! Good luck!
