am i in labor? updated

I've been experiencing contractions for a few days now and have been losing pieces of my mucus plug here and there for about 2 weeks. But last night I started getting some pretty bad contractions around 11 but I didn't start timing them till the got worse which was around 2 and they are about 7 min apart. But I have not had bloody show or my water break and this is my second baby, so should I go in or could this be a false alarm. They hurt terribly and I have hardly been able to sleep. I also feel like I need to puke. Someone please help me?

Ok after going to the hospital they said I was in early labor and it could be a day or one week, which now it has been over a week and now I'm 3 days overdue! Aaaahh I have had bloody show for 4 days now and contractions just none bad enough to go to the hosp, constant backaches and still nothing! I have walked and everything just the contractions are worse during the night then they are during the day, aaah I am so discouraged has anyone else been through this?

Sounds like you could be to me. Try calling the labour ward...

could be, no harm in phoning and asking, i wouldnt wait on ur waters going,

i would go in, as its your second baby they tend to come a bit faster!!

Thanks I just called the hospital and they said it definatly sounds like labor but to wait till they get a little bit closer, aaaaahhh they hurt bad already! But thanks everyone and ill keep you updated!

Good luck hun! Sounds like this is it! My waters didn't break on their own and when I got to hospital I was only 1cm but my ds arrived 3 hours later. Hope everything goes smoothly and you'll be holding your lo very soon! xxx
