NCT Classes

We have our first one on Thursday evening and was wondering if you need to take anything and (silly question) do you need to wear very comfortable clothes? It's a refresher course seeing as I'm not a first time parent but I have never been to any classes with my other 2, it's for my DH's benefit as LO is his first.

Mine (which was a 1st time parent class) you didn't need to take anything with you, other than yourself and your partner. They even provided drinks and biscuits!

Comfortable clothes aren't essential, they didn't have us doing full on labour positions or anything, I think the "worst" thing was sitting on a birthing ball or lifting your legs up really high when walking (she called it a duck walk) to try and encourage baby into the right position.

Hope that helps!

So far we haven't needed comfy clothes as such although there is a bit of being on the floor (drawing pictures!), practising some labour positions etc. Jeans or leggings have worked so far for me.

We needed to bring pillows to ours so I guess they are all different. We tried various birth positions. We didn't do them in the first class though so if you haven't been told to take anything I wouldn't worry, you would be told in your class if you need to bring anything next time x

We tried out positions on the birthing ball so just need to be able to bend and get up and down off the floor if necessary x
