Movements

haven't really felt LO today so rang the hospital and they advised me to go down to be monitored for an hour but have since felt a few very slight movements and wonder if this is enough or whether it needs to be fairly strong movements to count. i know that there's not much room for bubs in there now but it just seems a little bit less than normal. Don't wanna waste anyone's time or go down there unneccessarily

I had a few days when she wasn't moving much atall.
She picked up again though. I knew she was alright.
If you're worried ATALL then you should get checked out.
It won't waste time, it'll reassure you

My baby is totally having a chill day. I much prefer the active days over the lazy ones.

I agree with Toria, if you are worried, pop in and have them monitor your LO.

Have a glass of water and some food, lay on the bed and call the baby out.
That's what I do when he/she is lazy because I 'have' to feel him/her at all times.
Another thing I do is play this cute Vinnie the Pooh lullaby (I put it on the belly) and the baby reacts pretty quickly.

Hope all is well.

Since the movements should be about 10 a day I think you should probably be checked just incase. At least then you wont have to worry but it's probably just baby having a lazy day.

Just got back, everything is fine. Got raised leukocytes (++) in my urine so had a sample sent of for analysis. Hooked up to the monitor and the HB was varying from 118 to 184 but mostly hung around the 148 mark.

That is good to hear Lulu. I think sometimes our LOs just have lazy days, just like we do.

Was about to post to see how it went.

Glad to hear that your little one is fine, I'll bet your feeling much happier now.

The raised leukocytes means you might have a UTI, is that right?
