As some of you know oxsarahxo sadly lost her baby girl Jessica Charlotte Reay hours after giving birth. We are arranging a star to be named after Jessica and a lantern for her resting place from all of us. We also thought it would be nice to make a contribution to Sarah & Matt so they can use it towards flower arrangements, head stone or resting place arrangements. If you would like to contibute please PM me for details. I'm Currently Feeling: | Sleeping on your back I know you're not supposed to lay on your back for more than 20 minutes because it cuts off the circulation to the baby..blah blah..but I obviously cant control that when Im sleeping!! Ive tried these pregnancy pillows to "train" myself to sleep on the sides, but either way..I always end up on my back...soooo whats a girl to do? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm the same some nights. I start off on my side and wake up in the middle of the night on my back. Not sure if anything can be done to prevent it! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I was also like that and my mw eased my worries by telling me that you will only be on your back for a few minutes before you get uncomfortable and change positions anyway so the baby would be fine |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Was speaking to my mother about this and in her day, whatever position was comfortable they slept in it.
I'm trying really hard to stick to sleeping on my sides but sometimes it's more comfortable on my back! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | It cant be that bad..otherwise, Mother Nature would have somehow taken care of it (ie, make it terribly painful the minute you lay on your back to teach you not to!!!) |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I wake up on my back as well. My MW told me it would make me uncomfortable before it was a problem for the baby. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm sure I replied to a thread like this earlier lol!
I slept on my belly untill I had no choice but to sleep on my side. Now I wake up on my back and my midwife said that's fine. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am guilty of doing that, but baby seems to like it. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My husband has an automatic response of shoving me over when I roll onto my back now... I caught him doing it in his sleep the other night!
Other than that I really don't think that there is much we can do to keep ourselves from rolling onto our backs during our sleep - we just have to try to lay on our sides whenever we can help it (i.e. when we're awake) |
