For those considering hiring a TENS machine - special hire offer

I've just received an email from Bounty offering a discount when hiring a TENS machine. I've just got the MamaTens my time for 6 weeks for £30 which seemed like a good deal.
The code you need is BOUNTY14 and the website: http://www.mama-tens.info/About_TENS_p1.php

Incidentally, does anyone have any experiences of using a TENS machine? I've heard mixed reviews but am going to hopefully give it a try anyway!

I've no idea whether some machines are better than others but Bump-to-3 has 6 weeks for £26.99.

My hospital are providing the TENS machine for free from 37 weeks (subject to availability). If not then Asda are doing it for £10 for the 6 weeks.

Wow, that's cheap - do you just go into the pharmacy to arrange it?

I can't find anything about tens machines on the Sainsburys website.

My midwife said my hospital used to offer them, but they kept disappearing so they've stopped.

Asda are not showing anything on their website either but you can enquire about it from the pharmacy counter, I'm guessing Sainsburys will be the same too.

At my hospital you have to leave a £20 deposit which is only returned upon receipt of the TENS machine after the hire period.

I bought one from Llyods chemist for £30.00 with the thought of selling it on afterwards on ebay.... they're selling secondhand for £20 ish atm!! So that's a potential cost of only £10!

xx

Hello - you buy a voucher from the pharmacy and then ring mamaTENS to arrange delivery. I couldn't believe how cheap it was, considering most places are £25-30 to hire

How do you return it - do they come pick it up?
