I had it on 17 Nov.
The arm pain is HORRIBLE! The needle didn't hurt going in at all, but about 4 hours after for the next 5 days I was in a lot of pain. I couldn't lie on the arm so I could only lie on one side. I missed out on a bit of sleep that week.
The day after the jab I felt a little crappy and baby was a little quieter than normal, but that didn't last very long. 2 paracetamol and an early night was enough to make me feel better.

I had it on 16th Nov, arm little sore that week but not bad at all. Was tired the next evening but i'm tired most evenings anyway!

I had routine midwife appointment on 17th and everything as it should be.

After all the deciding if to have the jab i'm so glad i did and can now be less paranoid if anyone sniffles next to me!

I had it 25/11 and it was a bit stingy at the time but nothing serious. Next day was a bit red and got quite swollen, itchy and more red as that day went on. Bit uncomfortable to lie on and painful to the touch and that lasted about another day but today swelling is going down and redness fading/pain lessening. Other than that had no symptoms.

I had mine on 25/11... we weren't keen on having it done in the first place, but after I'd suffered pretty badly with just a cold, we were a bit weary of what would happen if I did catch anything worse - and given that I work in a school, and there are plenty of germs around, we decided to go for it.

It didn't hurt at the time (and I am pathetic with injections of any kind) and I felt absolutely fine that evening. The next day around lunch time I started to feel a bit 'dozy' which is the only way I can only describe it, and by evening, my arm was killing me and I was also generally achy.

I couldn't sleep on my left side for 2 nights and my arm is bruised, red, hot and sore (pic kind of shows it). Good news though, is that baby is absolutely fine.... no decrease in movement and I've listened on the doppler (which I hadn't done for weeks) and she's fine.

I'm sure that you and your baby will be fine too... just don't expect to be raising your arm for a couple of days after!

I am ummming and ahhhing about it. I was offered it at my mw appointment on Thursday. I am little unsure as I think it has been released without the full tests being done and also there is now the new strain of the swine flu which has killed people in the UK. This jab will not protect against the new strain.

On the other hand my DH has decided that I am not to go into any public places from now until Bubs is due as he does not want to risk me catching anything. And as I have now started my maternity leave I am going to be very bored stuck at home indeed.

I have 2 agree with the others the pain in the arm after is the worst you can't touch your arm or lift it high at all but lasted about 3days! Well worth it though

I had mine 11/11. I had a sore arm, which I couldn't sleep on. That went after a few days. I think I was probably a bit snuffly and a bit headachey the night after having it, but I was fine otherwise. No problems since. Baby moved plenty on the day and ever since.
