| Where is baby going to sleep? Hi everyone,
This is probably a silly question... but I'm just curious - where are you all planning to put baby to sleep for the first few weeks/ months?
We have a cot set up in the baby's room but I want baby in our room at first... originally we were planning to use the carrycot that came with our travel system as it says it is suitable for night sleeping, but I'm starting to dislike this idea, if we are using it during the day also and taking it outside etc... not sure it's so hygenic.
Has anyone used anything like this: http://www.boots.com/en/Graco-Petite...achePage=false
Or, do you not think that would be suitable for long term use? I feel a bit clueless! | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi, I'm planning on having baby in a Moses basket for the first few months.
That way I can move him easily into which ever room I'm in.
Also I think because Moses baskets are quite small, the baby feels comfy as it's like being in the womb.....if that makes sense!!! | | | | Status: Online

| hey babe, im having my bubs in the bassinet pram. so i can move him with me whenever i go out and then when he falls asleep i can wheel him in with me.. when he gets a lil more knowing i will out him into his cot. But i like the idea of him being with me next to my bed for the first few months also i can put him in bed with me and breast feed him there too.

| Bubs will be in a basinette by the bed during the night. Not sure for during the day. Last time I had the basinette in the lounge during the day but now I have a 13mths old racing around, it may not be such a good idea. Maybe will sleep baby in his cot in the day. | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi,
We are going to have a moses backet in our room for the first few weeks/ months, When we went to our antental classes we got some really good advise about the baby being in the room with you at first. They can pick up on your breathing and if they have any difficulty they can hear you breathing and gets theres back on track. Its personal choice were you have your bubba but im going havhim with me for a little while.
