We bought the Arm's Reach co-sleeper to go next to our bed,

Our pram carrycot is supposed to be good for doubling as a moses basket, but I'm not sure if I'm going to want to be putting it on and taking it off the chassis repeatedly.

So I might get a moses basket for the living room for during the day.

We're using the carrycot from our iCandy Peach. It is approved for overnight sleeping. However, the mattress that comes with it is not - you have to buy separately a breathable mattress for overnight sleeping. So I don't see a problem with hygiene as we'll have 2 mattresses that I'll be swapping between as needed, one for nighttime and one for going out.

She'll sleep in our room for the first 6 months or so. I haven't decided whether I'll put the carrycot on the floor by the bed (it is an Ikea bed so quite low) or keep it attached to the pram so she's off the floor.

Hi there,
I've been looking at moses baskets vs. the graco stuff and I think we've decided on the graco, as we can use it later downstairs.... so the LO will sleep in the basinet portion of the graco until the move to the nursery!
Hope that helps,
Purple
x

Baby doesn't have his own room yet, not getting one until he's a year old. The cot is set up in my room and the moses basket is downstairs. He will be in the moses basket during the day and at night before i go to sleep if that makes sense. If he's sleeping by the time i go up to bed, ill take the basket part up and place it in the cot x

Hi,

For me at night LO is going to be in a moses basket beside my bed, during the day will use either carrycot for pram or the moses basket!

Also have the Graco Contour Electra Travel Cot with the bassinett bit which was given to me by a friend and im keeping it downstairs in the living room but think its quite big and bulky and wont be used much until LO is a wee bit older. Its very similar to the Graco Bassinett thing you have( which is lovely!! ) just bigger!!

We were going to set up his crib in his nursery and have a bassinet in our room, but everyone I know has been telling me not to waste my money on a bassinet, so I decided to set up his Crib in our bedroom since he will be in there for atleast 6 months

We've got a cotbed in baby's room for when they are a few months old but until then plan to use moses basket in our room. Through the day will either use moses basket downstairs or carrycot bit of the travel system.
