Stupid dog jumped on my belly

The other night at my OH's house I offered to take his mum's dog out for a walk..got to the front door and he was going mad, pounded on my back so i turned round to get him down then he jamp on my stomach and i couldnt get him off.

Baby should be okay shouldn't he? I was more concerned with the fact that i think one of his claws got stuck in the hole in my belly button where i had literally just taken the bar out and i was screamin cos he had ripped it a bit.

I told the doctor but he didn't really say anything about the dog, but Aidan should be fine shouldnt he? His movements havnt reduced or anything

i am having the same problem with my dog keeps bloody jumping up on my tummy

i would be careful not to be in a situation where it could happen again however i am sure if baby hasnt changed in movements etc that its ok. they are pretty well protected in your tummy. just keep an eye on movements but i am sure he is ok, plus the amniotic fluid would of absorbed some of the shock i would imagine. if you are concerned go to the hospital though hun and dont ever feel you are wasting their time xx

You're lo is nice and protected and takes alot to harm them..my 3 year old jumps on and climbs all over me and my lo is absolutely fine. Some where on here a lady said her midwife said it would take you going 30 mph and to crash with the air bag coming out to harm bubs so i wouldn't worry :-) xx

We have an immensly stupid yet lovable labrador who is the size of a rottweiler, he regularly catches me on the tummy button and whilst it bloody hurts i dont think it does any real harm. id be more worried if he landed right on me as thats a bit un comfy! Baby is well protected in there.xx

I agree, think you will be fine Our 2 great danes aren't allowed to jump up (you can understand why, paws go on shoulders not on bump!!) but they quite often headbutt me in the bump and my baby seems to have survived it!

My little dog enjoys using my belly as a runway to my boyfriend, he never hurt me as of yet.

For bigger dogs I would be a bit more worried, I hope all is okay with you.

If it's not my dogs it's my 13 month old landing on me!

I'm sure your LO is fine
