I'm Currently Feeling: | Who is gonna be using glass bottles vs. plastic ones? Ridiculously enough, it is almost impossibe to find glass baby bottles at major retailers. Everyone is selling plastic, but I am very uneasy about the whole issue with plastic and leaching of toxic components into the milk, so I decided to find glass bottles.
We went to this cute independent store and found glass bottles. Well, to be honest, one is glass, but the other one is plastic, but bisphenol free and therefore safe.
Spent over 30 bucks on 2 bottles, which is a lot compared to cheapy plastic ones. However, I would much rather buy the safer alternative. | | | | Status: Online

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm gonna BF, but for DH to be involved, and my family who wants to feed her also, we got bottles. We got the plastic Playtex ones, but with the Drop-Ins, since I've read that those are completely safe. I looked at the glass ones, but the drop ins seemed really convenient and are not really expensive. Its scary how much stuff is always being recalled, especially thinking how many people had already used it for their children! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I got the playtex drop ins as well so my fiance can feed. The liners don't contain the toxin BPA. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I went to Walmart and actually found a 3pack of BPA free bottles by Nuby. They're the platics ones that are colored and only paid 7 bucks for them. Also got 3 glass bottles from a family friend, pretty sure thats all I need for now as I'll be breast feeding too (hopefully). | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I plan on breastfeeding, so bottles aren't the biggest issue for me. But I did buy two glass bottles to start with, for only 3 dollars each. Where are you shopping at?????? I got mine in Toys R Us and they're just great. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | What are these drop-ins that you're talking about? How much do they cost and can you fit them into any plastic bottle? What exactly do they do?? | | | | Status: Offline
