Off days and Leukocytes

Hi girls,

I am 38 weeks pregnant and saw my MW yesterday, she tested my sample as normal and said there was Leukocytes, so sent it orr to be tested further....
Should i be worried about this???
Also i have really off days where i feel like i am getting a cold/flu... achey, headachey, sicky, lethargic - is this connected???

Hope someone can help x

Probably just a urine infection. Leukocytes can be a sign. Plus your coldy symptoms. xx

Do you think?? I dont have any other symptoms??? I had 2 "coldy" days last week that just went and then woke up feeling it again today ?

Yeah it sounds like it could be. They will just give you some antibiotics to get rid of it.Thats how I felt when I had an infection. Hope you get your results soon. xx

Try and drink water to flush it through. Hopefully it will help. xx

Hija, I had the same thing in my pee at the weekend, the midwife said I was / had been fighting off some sort of bug but as I had no symptoms then it was prob on the way out and not worth worrying about, she said the pee would be sent off and they would let me know if anything came back from it..nothing has so far.xx

I would not worry about it yet - I'm not! Saw my MW on Monday and I also have a low level of leukocytes in my urine. I'm supposed to call Tues to find out the test results, but they said it could be nothing at all. Apparently there is so much going on in your body right now that you can have leukocytes detected and it doesn't mean a thing, not even a UTI. And if you do have an infection, they'll treat it!

As an aside, my BP was also a bit elevated, so they drew bloods to test - I'm more worried about that than the leukocytes.
