Notice anything different before labour started? - Page 2

I felt sick and had loose stools then next day i had my DD (my first child!) I was induced with second so nothing unusal there.

I had an upset tummy and period type pains for about 4 days prior to waters breaking. I had gone in about the pains a bit worried and they told me they were pre-labour contractions (?) not hicks. I guess they helped as when I went in & they measures me I was already 7-8cms. Hoping for the same this time, can't imagine how depressed I would feel if they said only 2cms lmao!!

lol i have a strange feeling its going to happen to me that is. Ill be in agnoy for ages, to find out im only 1cm. lol

The day before i went into labour i went shopping to B&Q for taps and Tescos for food, and Boots.
Well, i did a £40 shop in Tescos and was walking around there in a bit of a dose, dont really know what i bought either. Also at Boots i had strange feel in my tummy. Then at B&Q i was in a daze, nearly bought a £100 reduced tap! . Didnt realise it on day tho

I even nearly turned around on thw way as where i went was a 20m drive away so thought should i get my hospital bag?!
Then that evening in bed my waters went. I also had a bath the same evening. I dont think i was strange that evening but def in the day i got home as was like, what did i buy??!!

2 days before, i walked into town to meet friends for lunch and had all my hair cut off because it was driving me mad! I walked home and sat straight down on my stairs when i got in, thinking i was going to wet myself and thinking i can't have another 3 weeks of this?! Was exhausted! The night before i had my last antenatal class and had been fine until that night when they showed us all the 'surgical instruments' they might use, i left feeling sick and scared ha, the next morning my waters broke! x
