Hiccups and baby's position

Hi girls

Anyone know what the relationship is between where you feel baby's hiccups and his/her position? i.e. which bit of baby jerks when he/she hiccups???

I always seem to feel very localised twitching - I'm wondering if this is his/her head, or back, or what...?

ta! xx

My baby has hiccups right now...I can feel it at my right hip.

Baby is head down facing my left hand side...so I'm feeling the twitches kinda where the back of babies head is.

Hope that helps!! xx

I was wondering the same! I felt hiccups for the first time a few days ago and my bump was twitching at the lower left hand side, near my hip.

Honestly, the hic-cups I now feeling my backside! OH found it quite funny when I ordered him to feel my bum, but you can honestly feel her hic-cupping right down there.

She's very, very low it would seem. BUT NOT ENOUGH TO COME OUT YET.

Yeah, I was feeling hiccups quite low down and to one side until today - and they suddenly seem to have moved up high!

I'm being monitored weekly at the hospital and so far they have said they are 'fairly sure' the baby is head-down - but now I'm scared s/he has turned the other way!

I feel the hiccups low down by my hip on the left side. I know he is head down now facing my right side by my left hip. According to my antenatal yesterday he has started engaging by 4/5ths.

Hi

All the hiccups I've felt have been low down on either side but I sometimes get kicked at the same time so I feel lots of movement in different places.
