Basically i have probably had 4 movements today.

Was up all last night with period pains and have got them slightly in my back again now.

have been in before with reduced movements and ended up feeling stupid as baby statred kicking away when they put the monitor on me.

What would you do?

i had to ring once and they told me to have a hot sugary drink or a ice cold drink, and count the movments after/while drinking, and to call back after an hour of speaking to them. I'd try that then ring and tell them x

I agree, try the sugary drink or eating chocolate, but if still no movement and you're worried then call. At the end of the day it's what they're there for. My LO did the same to me on Mon and kicked as soon as I got to hosp, but the midwife was lovely and said they'd rather you came in and all was fine as soon as you got there than you didn't come and something was wrong xx

My mw said, if theres a massive change in baby movements over a few days to call hospital.

She then went onto say, if you give her a good poke and she doesnt respone, to call the hospital.
