what are your thoughts ladies?

So far a have;
4 fitted bottom sheets for the cot (more likely to get face nappy leaks)
2 blankets for the cot (will probably buy some more before bubs is here)

4 fitted bottom sheets for the pram/moses (mine converts!)
2 blankets for the pram (will probably buy some more before bubs is here)

I also have a few more blankets - one for car seat and a few which I'm not really sure which size they are - so just going to have them as spares for around the house - i.e. bouncy chair

All I need to get now are the flat sheets (for under the blanket, but over baby) for the cot and for the pram/moses BUT......


I don't know which are best? Plain Cotton or Jersey Cotton?

I know how different they feel etc - but will LO get too hot in Jersey Cotton ones, or is it best to have some of each?


I can't decide - I wish there wasn't so much to choose from!
My MIL said it wasn't difficult to know in the old days because there wasn't so much on the shelf for her to choose from

Not sure really. Depends on the time of year. If it's winter I'd still probably go for jersey :0)

Although jerseys are a lot softer and warmer I would go for plain cotton. Jersey can bobble quite easily and you wouldnt be able to use them in warmer weather.
