Blood Test Results - Very Low Iron Levels and Diluted Blood???
Hello Ladies,
Just back from my ante-natal appointment and the doc said my iron levels were low in my blood. She said they are not only low in my blood, but low in my stores too. When I asked her to explain what tha meant, she said my iron is even low in my bone marrow!!
Anyway she also said my blood is to diluted?? What the hell!!
She has put me on iron tablets now.. I thought my iron might be a bit low coz I was craving red meat and cereal big time.. But it sounds like its very low.. She didn't explain much to me even though I asked exactly how and why my blood is to diluted.. I feel a little confused about it, anyone else had this??
Im not sure about the blood, but my iron is also low but only slightly ive been on iron tablets for a few weeks now think they gave me a slight dodgey tummy at first but they seem ok now , they said they would check my iron again aswell not sure when tho xxx

No . Perhaps they mean diluted as not enough haemoglobin in it hence the need for iron tabs Everyone says the iron tabs will make us constipated Oh joy
I dunno, she wasn't clear about it at all, it was like trying to get blood out of a stone.. I kept asking her to explain it to me clearly but nope.. Couldnt get any sense out of her..

i havnt found them too bad, thankgod we have enough aches and pains xxx
i think when they say its diluted that its your clotting factor that is low and wont clot well to stop you bleeding. i think im just gonna look it up but im sure thts what it means.
