Losing weight after delivery

What do you ladies plan on doing to lose weight after you have your little ones? I've already gained 29 pounds and I'm sure I'm going to gain a ton more considering now LO gains 1/2 lb a week from now on. I'm going to be breastfeeding which I know burns calories so hopefully that will help a lot. If we have a nice summer I would love to go to the waterfront a couple times a week and go on walks (hopefully I can pass up the concession stands and not buy my favorite milkshake). I just don't want to let myself go yet as I'm only in my twenties and would still love to be able to wear a bikini when we go on vacation.

1. breastfeeding
2. walking AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

I doubt I will have any time for the gym, but I honestly want to spend as much time as I can outside this spring and summer.

I'm going back to veganism, babywearing and breastfeeding and getting out & about. That should do it!

As I was a little over weight before it has made me MORE determined to lose weight once LO is here. I have a gym membership and I'll be going for an hour a day 6 days a week and then one day take LO with me swimming

I'm really hoping that after the birth I'm going to find I haven't put on too much weight but I plan to breast feed. Also my sister is very good at keeping fit and I plan to get her to work almost like my personal trainer!! Not that it will last very long because to me pysical activity it an evil word. Maybe after 6 weeks I can BD back into shape.... or is that wishfull thinking.

I think I always eat crappier when on a vegan diet for some reason.

There you go talking about that milkshake again! Now I want one...

I am planning on doing a lot of walking. I live in the boonies and there is this trail that goes for miles and so me and my friend like to walk along it in the summer, so thats where I will be everyday this summer, walk walk walk! Remember Luckyme, anytime you need a walking buddy by the Tacoma waterfront, Im your woman!

I also plan on joining this little gym by our house, our neighbor is a trainer there so Im going to see if he can help me loose the weight.

LOL, I eat way better on vegan diet. Was vegan for 2 years prior to getting pregnant & I'm really missing that healthy feeling! (plus the animal welfare issue is weighing heavily on my mind lately)

I'm gonna try to go to the gym... Get OH to baby sit for an hour or two!
Lots LOTS of walking as well. Gonna try to eat well (I'm so bad with chocolate and mcdonalds)

Hopefully I get my flat stomach back. Does any of you knows how long it takes until your stomach goes back to normal ?

Yeah I will defiantly take you up on that!! I wish I could convince myself to go to the gym but I think I would just buy the membership and never go. I might walk Bradley Lake Park in Puyallup since it will be just up the hill. I'll probably do laps around the neighborhood as well ... lets hope for a beautiful summer
