UK - Cotbed with dropsides?

Blimey these are elusive... anyone found one please?? Thought they would be ten-a-penny!

Hmmm could be wrong here, but i dont think you get them anymore. Risk of baby getting head stuck if the catch came undone. As i said i could be talking crap x

Really? That would explain it then.

But cots are OK to have drop sides?

I think cotbeds dont just because of their size.. you can just take off a side on a cotbed if you were wanting it to put right up next to your bed. Cots still have dropsides, mine does and theres no catch, its tricky to push in and slide up/down, and the thing is at the bottom-nowhere near baby

our cotbed has a height varied base so as a young baby you can have the mattress set towards the top of the cot sides and lower it as they become more mobile. IMO this is easier than a dropside.
