High Kicks

Just wondered if theres a certain time bubs should start kicking or anything like that higher up .. like i know at the start of pregnancy most people got the popping/bubbling feeling but not full on kicks low down.. but iv seen everyone just about around same time as me getting kicks in the ribs and everything mine are all stil low and at each side but stil low down never had a high kick..

Do you think ill only get this when bubs is head down later on?

x

My bubs is head down as confirmed by more than one scan & my kicks are down low too. Her head is down - her spine goes along my right side - her butt is above my belly button - and her feet are down by my left hip. Only thing I feel in my ribs is her butt pushing them up as hard as she can!

I have never had any high kicks - highest are still below the belly button. Nothing to worry about, dont know if we will feel anything higher?

If you imagine a circle, then imagine a number 6 in it, but continue the top bit right round to almost the bottom of the circle, Thats probably how baby is lying, so the kicks are only just above the head.. if that makes sense? thats where i get movement, cos her bum is in my ribs,

I don't get kicks in my ribs I get PAIN!!!! It just feels like alot of pressure I don't really get kicks anymore, shes too big and doesn't have enough room! I get alot of wriggling though and arms and legs and bums sticking out my bump though! So I have to push them back in hahaha x

I only ave Nudges and punches in ribs hun, feel everythin else low low down
was wondering why i wasnt getting the BIG ribs kicks... Hes Breech and very comfie by looks of it.. so MW says that would explain how i feel most of my movement down low in cervix area
seen him on scan today giving me loads lil boots in the cookie area
xx

My LO has been head down since week 28 and I'm getting kicks on top of bump but just as many punches low down as well (especially today when it has felt like my bladder was getting a real pounding) so think I've got a right wriggler in there. Not sure there's a right and wrong for it - just depends on how your baby is lying.

On my 20 week scan mine was kicking away at me as they said but i couldnt feel it .. im stil thinking bubs is transverse cause i get sticky out bits from both sides at the same time and i get his bum sticking out of my belly and it usually hurts when he puts pressure on me so i have to push gently on him lol

I have to say that if I was a baby I'd want to be transverse as it looks comfiest to me! Who'd want to hang out with their head upside down for weeks on end?!
