I haven't called back (I fell asleep!!) but the receptionist said I could have a copy of the results.

I think I'll go down there and ask again when there....then if I'm still not sure I'll get them to get the Doc to ring me.

My MW on Friday told me my urine was clear, that's why I'm confused!! I did have my urine taken at the hospital last Tuesday.....surely if it's from then, it wouldve shown up on Friday too.

Ladies what are the symptoms of a UTI?

I just picked up my prescription. The results are from the urine sample they took at the hospital last Tuesday.....I still think it's odd my MW didn't pick up on any problems 3 days later!!

I'm going to take the pills just in case.

Still though....would someone mind filling me in on the symptoms of a UTI?? I've been having random sharp pain down below and am not sure if they could be connected.

Not everyone with a UTI has symptoms. I have had UTI twice during this pregnancy and the first time I didn't have any reasons to suspect I had one.

Some symptoms include a frequent urge to wee and a painful, burning feeling when you do. You can feel tired, shaky and washed out. Sometimes you might find it difficult to wee. The urine itself may look milky or cloudy, even reddish if blood is present. If you have a fever, it may mean that the infection has reached the kidneys. Other symptoms of a kidney infection include pain in the back or side below the ribs, nausea, or vomiting.

I have been peeing more often but put that down to the baby engaging. Apart from that I've had none of the above!!

I guess it's a symptomless one!

i got these tablets for a suspected UTI as well but thats when I went to ask about my SPD. I would call them tho to find out. obviously they are safe to take or i wouldnt have been given them either but as someone has said they are penicilin based xxxx
