Awww thankyou everyone! Josh is very very proud indeed, Keeps saying he cute & gorgeous & when jax wakes up josh shouts " mummy jaxons alive " lol
Getting a rest ish at mums but i really want to go home & have my own comfy bed, The settee at my mums is comfy but its just not like being home

I've stayed in today but went to co-op earlier in friends car for some fresh air & goodees, Been really sore today so didn't want to do to much, i've started bruising all around the stitches & i've sneezed twice today & ooooooh boy did that hurt
Had a 4 hour sleep with jax this aft so feeling bit more awake now, & gonna keep catching up on sleep when i can.

Ya know what is sad though - Jax's dad hasn't asked once about him , We haven't spoke since i was 20wks ish but tuesday night after jax was born i sent his mum a piccy of jax as she requested & told her what he was called & that was that , no reply with congrats or how are you both or anything at all , Nothing from her son at all . I kinda expected something even if it was abuse but to not even get anything off either of them has just made me 110% realise just how shit they're family is & how we're lucky to be out of it. If they cant even simply ask how we are or jax is then they are not worthy to be in jaxs life so they wont be

Midwife came today & is concerned with jaxs weight loss as he's dropped to 6lb 13oz which is just over 10% of his body or something , but i had to tell her he didn't feed for nearly 12hrs & that i wasn't producing milk til early hours of yesterday morning coz of section & not natural birth. But he is feeding perfectly fine now & i breastfed before so i've an idea if somert isn't right. They are coming back tomorrow as i need to be given the last of 5 injections for blood clots & then they'll come sunday to remove stitches, do jaxs heel prick & they gonna re-weigh him . They said because he is quite a deep red colour he must have a lot of red blood cells so over the next few days as the colour dies down he may go a little jaundiced but not to worry bout it. Daft cow she was i tell ya, Trying to tell me if he doesn't put " sufficient " weight on they would need to take action, Who the fuck is she? Dont they read your notes that say " struggled to feed as baby not interested!! " but now says " baby feeding really well " They wouldn't of discharged me otherwise , I kinda told her i knew what i was doing & to leave us be. Patronising cow she was. lol

Glad you're settling into everything! Josh sounds very cute!
You're right about baby's dad, if he can't be bothered to get in touch you'll do better on your own!
Ignore the mw, i think they always make our new mothers don't know what they are on about, sounds like you're doing a great job to me! xx
