Is it in your cervix? I've been getting that and mum just said it's pressure from baby engaging and your cervix starting to slowly efface as a result. It's apparently very common.

That said, the way she talks about some of them... they sound strict and bossy! Haha, I'll prob get one of them, courtesy of mum, for her own amusement!
Yeah my mums told them all about me too! Only thing i find abit funny is one of my mums work friends that she chats away to everyday is going to be..well delivering my baby!

Yeah, it can be great and I feel well informed on a lot of things. But, at the same time, she sometimes is a bad mix... like your MW wouldn't follow you around Tesco tutting about having too many smoothies or lecture you for getting a "breast to bottle and back" bottle for when you intend to express in a few months because she thinks it means you'll just do it when you're tired and can't be bothered BFing... ahaha.

She's also very pro natural birth, like all MWs really, and tried to scare me away from c sections before I even fell pg. So, if I need one I'll be nervous as hell!

Yeah, she'll be a good support. But I'm stubborn and will want to do it all myself , hopefully I'll learn to be able to ask for help if I need it.
