Stretchmarks..

I have a few stretchmarks starting up, and I'm sooo itchy. My belly balm ointment just doesn't seem to be doing its duty. I'm pretty ticked here, and I have a feeling it's just the beginning.

When did you start getting stretchmarks, or do you even have any (yet)?

I had two little ones, one on each side above my hip bone at about 20 weeks and then nothing, so I thought I got away without them. But no! At about 28 weeks I started seeing little ones but then at 30 weeks they really took off. Now I have them all along my belly below and next to my belly button, purpleish color. I hope I dont end up with one of those nasty saggy bellys after! One thing to be thankful for is that my upper belly looks great! lol

When it's on your belly though, I think it's more obvious. I'd much rather have that.

Mine are very asymetrical. I have a few on the lower part of my belly on the right side (which I am contributing to the baby's growing head in that area), and I have a few on my hips. The ones on the hips are much more prominent on the right side and they are about an inch long and purple. So disgusting.

Thats funny cause mine are kinda like that too! He always makes my belly lopsided pushing out on my right side so I have way more on that side and they are longer and larger on that side too. It sure does look funny when you look at my belly and one side is rounded and the other side is all elongated and stretched.

I have a feeling my belly will just NEVER be the same. How long does it take for stretchmarks to fade?
