I'm Currently Feeling: | Ooh gosh. I'm not gonna go count it... We had an inventory at one point, but that was before the shower, and I have no idea the exact amount we have. She has 6 drawers full of clothes, and a full rail of clothes in our walk in closet. Her bar is about 6-7 feet long. She has more clothes than her daddy! Probably more than me too, since her clothes are so tiny, we've been able to fit so much in the drawers and stuff. She's also got a few bits at each grandmas house. We have everything from newborn, up until 18 months.
I dont have everything washed yet, but was busy yesterday doing lots of laundry. We've got so much for her, its crazy. The only thing were gonna need to buy for a while will be diapers and wipes, and even that wont be for a while since we've got so many already.
We thought about doing cloth diapers, but our moms told us we shouldn't since its a hassle. Maybe we'll give it a try anyway. Its so much better for the environment. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I haven't even started to buy clothes. I think that because we don't know what we are having, I'm having a road block buying anything. I've been really weird about buying anything for the baby. I don't think it's hit me that we are having a baby, yet. LOL.
BurtonBaby, you might want to check out www.tinytots.com it's a diaper service. I'm seriously considering it. I haven't decided 100% sure yet, but it's a compromise with washing them yourself, something I don't think I could handle. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I was thinking about a diaper service, if we tried cloth, since I dont think I'll be wanting to wash them myself either! That one looks really reasonable! Thanks! Im gonna have to talk to DH about it. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have way too much stuff already and my shower isnt til Saturday! I have a ton of onsies (white undershirts and then cute decorated onsies) He has like 10 pairs of lil shoes for every occasion, church, sandals, slippers, tennis shoes, etc. I have at least 10 or so outfits or more for each stage 0-3, 3-6 etc up to 12m. I cant help myself from buying things! He is going to be a well dressed baby thats for sure.
Im not washing some of it til he gets here because if he doesnt fit then I can exchange the outfits for the right size. You never know how fast he is going to grow into those summer clothes and what not. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | We have tonns of clothes now - all size 0-3 months as my mum swears that most babies either don't fit newborn stuff or outgrow it so quickly that it's not worth it...
Most of the clothing that we have are packs of bodysuits and sleepsuits... we also have some cuter more expensive sleepsuits and some outfits that were mostly bought as gifts by family... I'm thinking that mostly baby is going to wear a bodysuit, a sleepsuit and a cardigen for the first few weeks - after we know the gender and baby gets a bit bigger we can go shopping for more varied outfits. We also have lots of hats, scratch mits and booties.
I haven't gotten around to washing anything yet so I better get a crack on! I need to wash all of the nappies about three times before they can be used to get maximum absorbancy........... There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day recently! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh Holldoll, I am sooo glad to read your post. I was feeling so unprepared compared to everyone else.
Lets see, I have:
2 button down newborn footy sleepers
One newborn sleeping gown thing
3 3-6 month onsies (one of which will not be used as it is from the new Gap baby-ology. I bought Taurus and Gemini, since I am due on the cusp.)
1 pair of 3-6 month cotton pant
1 bib
1 pair of socks
1 blanket
1 6-12 month cardigan.
I am going the diaper service route as well. I want to use cloth, but don't want to have to wash them. A girlfriend used a local service and loved it. So I thought I would give it a try. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I only have two outfits LOL!! I'm waiting until my baby showers are over because I know I will be receiving lots of clothes and I don't want lots of doubles. Luckily one of my baby showers is this weekend so I will have a good idea of what I do and don't need. |

I have like 4 outfits that my Mom and a girl friend gave me. My shower is on the 29th, so I'm thinking after that I will go shopping. I've kinda been waiting for that. Everyone keeps telling me to not worry all a baby needs is diapers and blankets. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | with just the 0-3 month stuff, I had to clean out half our closet! (It's only a four foot closet, BUT STILL! )
Plus he has half our drawers with washclothes, blankets, bibs, etc.
We have 20+ onsies, like 15+ sleepers, and then a bunch of outfits and pants for 0-3 months.
We have 2 newborn sleepers, which I doubt he will be able to wear anyways.
I have washed all the 0-3 month stuff. Nothing else. All the older stuff I have put away for now, until he outgrows the stuff he has now. |
