I'm guessing that I will have one this Friday at my appt. I doubt she will give me warning, as I had no warning (except from you girls of course!) that I was getting the Strep B, until I was in the office. What sucks tho, is that my mom has been wanting to go to my appts with me lately, to get to know my doctor better before delivery, and I always have to make her wait the whole time while my doctor is doing that.

I don't know why they would be doing internals so early. It's better for both you and the baby to avoid them as long as possible. It can introduce infection into the vagina and can cause premature labor. My Dr. told me he won't be doing anymore until I'm in labor. Even then I am going to only do them as minimally as necessary.
