Excuse me while I have a wee rant here...

He's only home now as he went for a pint after work. Now I'm not normally the type to mind - in fact I encourage it, especially before baby comes. But he was supposed to be home hours ago and I'm starving. Dinner has been ready for an hour :/

He came home also with a new lens for his camera. Supposedly its for baby pictures - why this is better than the other 3 lenses he has, I don't know - it was £80! I've bought everything for this baby and haven't bought anything for myself in months...guess I'm just a bit peeved.

He had a 'special fund' of monies set aside for an enagement ring...supposedly. Only theres nothing left in it. He got money today from his friend for a mixer he sold, apparently to go into this special fund. But the money never stays in the special fund. I told him I don't need a fancy engagement ring - I'm not the type of person that likes flashy things anyway, but if he can't even manage to save a few hundred pounds, then I'm scuppered...

Argh! Rant over...thanks for listening

It must be the season for male silliness. I'm having 'man and money' problems too. I've ranted in my journal. Lord help me if he ever reads it, though!

I feel your frustration honey. If I could tell you what to do/say, I would, but try to focus on his good points at the minute and remember why you are with him...if you can!

I know how you feel tho, all i want to do when my hubby gets home from work is cuddle on the couch, i hate when he says he is going out somewhere! x
