I've been the same. Before pregnancy I used to crave sweet food just before AF but the rest of the month I wasn't really interested. Now I could live off sweet stuff.

I just finished a bar of chocolate whilst reading this thread! Uggh!I try to eat healthy but to be honest I kind of like the fact that nobody expects me to look like a toothpick now that I'm pregnant. This is the only time a woman is allowed to pig out. Good luck with your 'diet'! I surely do not have the willpower. Hmmm...is that another choccie calling me?He-he!

This isn't really what you were looking for but just thought I'd add a suggestion. I find making jelly (or jello for the American ladies) helps keep me from over-eating chocolate. Its sweet & refreshing & there is only so much you can eat. If you put it in small pots then you can just grab one when you feel the need. My biggest problem is my kids spot it & then it disappears but hey I'd rather they have it than eat loads of fattening goodies.

Ok, so I see there are some takers!
I think we should perhaps do a thread with daily food intakes based on an HONOUR system....meaning, if you do eat something not so healthy (but oh so delicious), do confess.

I have started my morning today with a bowl of cereal with chocolate soy milk.
This will be haaaard.

I don't eat jello because it has gelatine in it

I'm in! I want to get away from all this junk. I haven't gained much weight, but I feel terrible every time I eat something that is so terrible for baby and I. I'm sick of feeling bad for eating junk food.

So far today I've had for breakfast: One banana. Bowl of oatmeal. Glass of milk.

Aqua can you not find veggie friendly jelly/o?

Maybe try dried fruits?

I am a chocoholic as well. I just try to eat dark choc.

Breakfast: whole grain bread with organic peanut butter and 1/2 a granny smith apple and a small oj.

I'm in. I've gained about 40lbs so far with this pregnancy. The second trimester was brutal for my insane eating... At least now in the third trimester I can't actually GORGE on food like I did in 2nd trimester because my baby makes my tummy squished.

I have found that if I eat good protien in the morning it tends to keep the cravings at bay.

This morning's breakfast - (unconventional I know ) A bean burrito leftover from last night, and a slice of cornbread.

I have also been craving pears and I usually try to have one when I get the urge to splurge I got a big bag from one of those warehouse shopping centers. LOL And as a bonus, they don't seem to give me as bad of heartburn as other food.

Good thread Aqua! Hopefully I can hover over this 40lb mark till the end
