Hi everyone,
Just wanted to know if your doctor changed your prenatal prescription or amount when you entered the third trimester?
I am currently drinking prenatal,iron+calcium for my second trimester as per my doc's recommendation. I really hope they do not add more tablets to the third trimester!

Um, I haven't taken any prenatals or supplements since stopping folic acid at 12 weeks. Me and my midwife agree that it should come from your food.

Is there a reason your dr is giving them to you? Low iron levels etc?

No,she just says most women become anemic during pregnancy naturally and this prevents it from happening.

I still take one prenatal vitamin and one calcium pill.
Although I have to admit, I have been rather forgetful in the past week or so, but other than that I have been pretty strict on those.

Ive been taken a pre-natel vitamin all throughout my pregnancy, can only do good i reckon

I haven't been taking any pre-natals. They switched me to a few different brands, but we could never find one that didn't make me sick
