how would I know if my waters were leaking?

Hi,

I've just been to the loo and i've seen that I have a stain of watery stuff in my knickers. its not like discharge (well not like the recent thicker stuff i've been having) but more like a water stain.

so i'm thinking either

a) my pelvic floor is letting me leak bits of wee
b) I could have leaking my waters
c) i'm a hypocondriac and all is fine

anyone have experience of this?

Ive noticed ive got a weaker bladder than normal, ive put that down to being quite late on. I try not to laugh so hard!! haha Petrified of little accidents at the wrong time!! haha

Ive also noticed a change in how 'it' looks in my knickers, more watery and a slightly different colour. I think its normal but now youve mentioned it im going to have a look see if i can find anything.

I had thrush quite bad early on and it took ages for me to get rid of it so i havent felt 'normal' since then really.

I get this regularly and now wear wee panty liners. I think it's urine in my case because I had a scan to check my liquor at 33 weeks and it was fine. I know it's annoying and a bit embarrassing. I would just keep an eye on it to make sure the fluid isn't an odd colour or that it doesn't smell foul or funny. That and chat to your M/W to set your mind at rest. Good luck xxx

I am having a simular experience, its def not urine, but just wondering if you do just get increased watery discharge or if it could be my waters slowly leaking?

Am at the hospital now, waiting to be seen by day care for the very same reason. Just seen my midwife who. Thinks it sounds like waters so sent me here to be checked. Been getting lots of bh and period cramps too so who knows! Hopefully will find out soon. Will let u know what the watery whiteish fluid is!! X

Well found out its not my waters, just watery discharge, lovely! But I am having contractions every 6 mins but been sent home and told to see if they get stronger. Got a feeling I'm gonna be like this for a while tho!
