They should have said, less kicks but you feel everything else. Like right now, dunno what he/she is doing but it feels like they're trying to do pilates or something.

Oh and don't get me wrong, feeling the baby move is aboslutely the most amazing thing I have every experienced, it just hurts at times.
I'll second that.

It is painful when he stretches ! I keep jumping! I try to grab his feet/elbow/(whatever boney thing it is) when it sticks out... It's weird how you can almost touch him but he seems so far away!

Hahaha, at first when I opened the thread I expected it to be about OUR movement, not baby's...

I find myself groaning and "umph'ing" and sometimes "ouch'ing" at every little bending, stooping over, sitting down, getting up, movement I do!

But I can sure relate to the baby movement being an ouch... yes they must like the feel of their hand, elbow, foot or knee as it works over the "washboard" that is my ribs...

OUCH!

I am there with you Margerle, I have been making lots of 'umph'ing noises as well.

But I guess I am lucky so far, nothing in the ribs. My baby is soooooooo freaking low, I have not had any kicks there. Am I just abnormal? The highest I have felt my LO is about an 1-1 1/2 inches above my belly button, and that is really rare.

As the baby gets bigger, the movements can certainly hurt.

But what I kept thinking about was how comfortable was that little baby. Not so much room for them to move in.

Oh, that's why I LOVED the 3D ultrasound I had.

He was rolling over, yawning, AND SQUISHING HIS NOSE WITH HIS FOOT!! Then he even started rubbing his forhead with it! It was the number one cutest, and weirdest, thing I've ever seen.

It's so amazing just to peek into their comfy little worlds.

My stomach always hurts because he likes to stick his bum out of the right side of my stomach and stick his foot in the right ribcage!

My LO has been nice as far as my ribs go. However, he keeps poking his foot/feet out of my right side and towards my back on my right. I knew it was his feet because I can literally feel the little foot!! Then during my U/S the other day, the nurse went on my right side and WHAT popped up on the screen?! . . . THAT DANG FOOT!! I was like, "I KNEW IT WAS HIS FOOT!" and the nurse and my mom started laughing.
